I love reading. I'll give any book a try.
Bird Of Prey - Danielle-Claude Ngontang Mba I received an ARC copy from the author in exchange for an honest review.

Sémya Slotin has a genius IQ and degrees in everything from Computer Science to Forensics. She chooses not to use her degrees. Instead, Sémya and her friend, Polliannah, own and run a wine store. However, they enjoy drinking the wine more than selling it. Due to lack of funds, Sémya accepts a job from her adoptive mother, Annika, investigating the theft of several fashion designs by the design company run by Sémya's ex-boyfriend Julian. In the course of her investigation, Julian's girlfriend Johanna is found dead. How did she die? Was she murdered? Who is she really?

I loved this book. It was action packed from the beginning and kept me guessing throughout. I really enjoyed Sémya's boards that she created to help visualize her theories. I also enjoyed how Polliannah would dress Sémya up for her dates with Josh. I really want to know what secrets Josh is keeping and more about Polliannah's new beau, John. There were twists and turns and even some romance. This book had everything. I can't wait to read more about Sémya and find out the answers to my lingering questions.
My Savior Forever - Vicki Green My Savior Forever was a very sweet story love story. Cassie is a woman on her own after being juggled through the foster care system. She's finally found a place to put down roots and made some wonderful friends. Then, she wakes up in a room that's not her own unable to move her arms or legs. She remembers the horrible moment when she was abducted. I'll let you read for yourself what happened to her in that room. Just when she wonders how she'll ever survive, she is rescued by Jesse. Jesse has been on the trail of the two men that killed his mother, and just happened to be watching the house when they brought Cassie in. He rescues her and keeps her safe. The rest of the book is the story of Cassie and Jesse falling in love and working through the traumatic events that Cassie endured.

Overall, I really enjoyed this story. I loved seeing Cassie overcome the trauma and open her heart to Jesse. I also liked Allie and her willingness to accept Cassie from the start. Allie and Jesse have really big hearts and give their love to Cassie unconditionally. Jesse is my new book boyfriend. I love how he spoiled Cassie and took care of all her needs. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.
Finding Meara (An Adven Realm Adventure, Vol. 1) - Lara Schiffbauer I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This book was action packed from the beginning. Hazel was kidnapped from her home by a creature with wings that called her Meara and taken to the home of Lucian in the Realm. The Realm is a kind of alternate reality, or parallel world, where there is no technology. Hazel escapes Lucian’s house with the help of a cat and makes her way through a forest to a cabin where she meets Arden. Even though they feel an instant chemistry, Arden helps her escape the Realm. Back in her own world, Hazel makes her way to her parents home with her best friend, Tavi. Once there, Hazel learns that she was adopted, and that Lucian is her birth father, Meara is her half-sister. Hazel also learns that Lucian plans to sacrifice Meara to retain his immortality. Then the race is on to find Meara and keep her safe from Lucian.

I really enjoyed this book. It was a fast-paced adventure and even had a bit of a love triangle. I found it fascinating the way the author created the Realm world and had the characters rushing between worlds. Hazel’s sidekicks, Tavi and the cat, were funny and supported Hazel unconditionally. The author showed a great amount of imagination in creating the Realm and all the different creatures. I was a little disappointed with the ending. It seemed rushed and left me with quite a few questions left. Overall, I would love to read more about these characters and this world.

Alluring Turmoil - Skye Turner I received an ARC copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

Alluring Turmoil is an amazing book. If you like rockstar romance you will love this book. Lexi and Jude are trying to restart their relationship after eight years apart. Lexi’s best friends, Bradi and Erik, will protect her and stay by her side no matter what. Can their relationship survive stardom and misunderstandings?

I really enjoyed reading this book. The writing flowed nicely and it was very easy to read. I was surprised to learn this is the authors first book. I felt all the emotions the characters felt throughout the book. I felt the heartache Lexi and Jude felt. I felt the unconditional love Bradi and Erik offered. This is the type of series I enjoy reading. Every book is about a different member of the band, Bayou Stix, and this book did have a happy ending.
Incomplete (Incomplete, #1) - Lindy Zart I was given a copy of this book by the author in exchange for an honest review.

What an emotional rollercoaster this book was. I loved it. Lily and Grayson are best friends that find themselves falling for each other. Grayson tries to push Lily away from him, he thinks he’s not good enough for her. Lily does everything she can to get Grayson to notice her as something other than a friend. When Grayson finally admits to Lily that he loves her and they have a relationship, she breaks up with him so he will pursue his dreams of writing music and singing by going to college in California. The ups and downs of their relationship had me reaching for the tissues throughout the book. I was really frustrated by both Lily and Grayson pushing each other away. And boy is there a cliffhanger. I need the next book. I need to know what happens. And I need to know now. So, if you enjoy the kind of book that tugs the heart strings and leaves you wanting more, definitely read this book. It was one of the best books I’ve read so far in 2013.
The Pursuit of Passion (Pursuit #1) - Liv Bennett I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

The Pursuit of Passion is a heartbreaking book about Taylor, a young widow, and Adam, the man who loves her. Ever since Taylor's husband, Jack, was killed in a car accident, she has kept her heart locked away. She is unable to love another. Adam fell in love with Taylor the minute he saw her, it was love at first sight for him. Three years after Jack's death Adam is still trying to open Taylor's heart. This story follow the trials and tribulations of Adam trying to get Taylor to love again.

I really enjoyed this story. My heart broke for Adam because Taylor seemed unwilling to take a chance on love. I also enjoyed the suspense in the book. Who attacked Taylor? Who was willing to blackmail her? Will she ever open her heart to Adam? Anyone that enjoys a romantic suspense with erotica thrown in will love this book.

A Shade of Vampire (A Shade Of Vampire, #1) - Bella Forrest I was given this book by the author in exchange for an honest review.

Move over Stephanie Meyer, there's a new vampire author in town. I absolutely loved this book. The author creates a completely new world of vampires. It starts out on Sofia's seventeenth birthday. She is kidnapped by a vampire and taken to the Shade. Things in the Shade are different. Vampires rule and humans are slaves. Sofia was kidnapped to become part of the Prince's harem. However, rather than becoming food for the Prince, Derek, she becomes his treasured companion because of the compassion she shows to others. Unfortunately for Sofia, Lucas, Derek's brother, has become obsessed with her and will stop at nothing to possess her. What will become of Sofia? Will her love for Derek survive? I can't wait to read more in this wonderful series.
Becoming Invisible (Impostor #3) - Tiffany Carmouche I was impatiently awaiting the release of this third book in the Alaska saga. I loved this book. I really enjoyed reading the story from all points of view. Becoming Invisible follows the lives of all the characters in the saga. I was heartbroken when Nicole thought her family died in the fire. I found Nicole to be annoying when she blamed Dylan for the loss of her family. I also found Brad to be annoying because it seemed like he didn't even make an effort to help Jessica deal with being without her mom or grandparents. Again, Tiffany left me with many questions. Is Chris working with Steve? Will Dylan and Nicole ever get their HEA. I can't wait to read more in this saga.

Stripped Bare - Susan Mac Nicol I enjoyed this book. I liked how Matthew grew throughout the story and overcame his past heartaches. I was annoyed with how Shane always forgave Matthew and made excuses for him. I enjoyed Shane's carefree outlook on life. I also enjoyed the pranks he pulled with his hacking abilities, even though they tended to back fire on him. I was very happy that Shane and Matthew worked through their troubles and found their HEA's.
Starlight (Peaches Monroe, #2) - Mimi Strong I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

This book was just as good as the first in the series. I love Peaches. She is a sassy, outgoing woman. In this book, the reader follows Peaches adventures during her time in California for her photo shoot. After Peaches relationship with Dalton ends, she engages in a rebound fling with her co-model Keith. Peaches adventures had me laughing out loud. If you enjoyed Stardust, you will love Starlight.
The Lost Trucker: Book One in The Dueling Dragon's MC Series - Rose Dewallvin, Bonnie Hardman I was given a copy of this book by the author in exchange for an honest review.

They are drawn to each other, but Faith resists the pull because of her past. When they finally decide to work on a relationship, Ryder is forced to make one more mysterious run.

I absolutely loved this book. It was a fast and easy read that kept me on the edge of my seat. It had romance, suspense, and heartache. Be prepared for a wicked ride in this debut book by Rose Dewallvin. You won't be disappointed.

Divisive - John Tucker I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

This book is about a dysfunctional family and the man that plans to tear that family apart. The Connors family consists of Carolyn, the mom that never wanted to be a mom; Elizabeth, the protective older sister; and Emily, the baby of the family that just wants to be loved. Enter Dennis Rask, the man that seems to be the answer to the Connors prayers. Divisive tells the tale of one mans game of destroying families.

I was caught up in this story from the very beginning. It was an edge of your seat thriller that kept you guessing throughout the story. I loved all the different perspectives of the characters. You got to see the story through the eyes of every character. I had no idea who the bad guy really was throughout. Was Dennis really a killer or was he wrongfully accused by an overzealous detective. The ending was unexpected and left me wanting more. I can't wait to read the next book.
